Brain-Rattling, New Thinking Will Help Any Business Perform Better



So, OK, I stopped altogether doing seminars here in the US. Occasionally I still go to Shanghai to "flex" my strategic cerebral fitness. Also, when the group is interesting, I still occasionally do a few 90-minute KEYNOTE addresses. The rest of the time, I'm discovering things. Breakthrough insights on what works and what doesn't. Inventive new slants on how to reach and favorably impact the market.

 

We're on the greatest frontier of change our business world has ever known. But the good news - to me, at least, is that - there are a few pivotal things you can actually do to put your sales and income-generating business performance in far better shape than you can possibly imagine. Better still - if you start doing things differently, then keep a vigilant pulse of the shifts that occur in your world and market -- you can be bigger, better, more profitable (and successful) next year than this, and you'll keep compounding these increases year after year!

 

Obviously, you're wondering "what," exactly you have to do differently -- and how, precisely you need to execute those changes, right?


Well, it's hard to completely summarize in this short communication, but there ARE an enormous array of key things to look at.

 

But it all comes down to one major point: Thinking Differently! Sound simple? Well, it is... AND, it isn't.

 

The biggest single change for most business owners and professionals is the open-mindedness card. We think of possibility like we think of the word "opportunity" - in a very superficial/theoretical, highly subjective way.

 

In reality, possibility connects your ability to assess, perceive, comprehend, impute, appreciate, adapt/adopt, extrapolate... then demonstrate to your own mind that you really, truly, honestly see what can be achieved, accomplished, mined, monetized, produced, generated, from your market. It means that you clearly perceive ALL that can be harnessed and harvested from a business, from its market, from a prospect or buyer. It means that your product/service (and company) more fully solves, addresses or fulfills your market's need, desire, problem or goal. It conveys that you comprehend how to preempt any direct or indirect alternative choice out there your prospects could turn to.

 

Then, you need to grasp (in a powerfully clear way) the full impact (and importance of ALL the direct and indirect) issues that positively -- or negatively -- affect your business performance, results, profits, success. You do this by learning to think 3-dimensionally, divergently, convergently. You do this by learning to recognize restrictors or impediments you are struggling with, but don't know they even matter.

 

Finally - you need to clearly fathom how different forces, factors and elements inside your business (and outside) ALL interact with one another. You need to see, understand, perceive your current reality -- and have a burning desire to make all the major action and attitude shifts that can make a difference in your business situation.

 

Sound easy?

 

Surprisingly, these simple-sounding shifts in strategy, action and transaction require a considerable change in thinking on your part. You need to incorporate daily regimes of looking at everything from far different vantage points. You must apply a highly disciplined "refocusing" -- to instill (and install) a new set of perception factors into your ongoing business thinking.

 

But if... and when... you learn to masterfully harness ALL these forces, you can be more successful year after year -- for the rest of your business life.

 

Regardless of how you conduct business today. Irrespective of how you do your marketing, selling, business generation. No matter how you source and sell clients - it's vitally, critically, essentially important that you shift your thinking and actions over to what I'm discussing, here. Just spending money on marketing. Just saying "money back-guaranteed." Just having a bunch of bulleted benefits in your sales letter or brochure - may have been good - once upon a time! Today - they're wrong! Articulated incorrectly, executed superficially - it's a real negative. Interestingly, now you have to be "authentically involved" with other people - your prospects and buyers. You have to care deeply about THEIR fears, THEIR hopes, THEIR wants, THEIR desires.

 

You have to dig into THEIR heart and soul and strike a deeply felt, relevant cord! Why? Because your prospects have strong motivations that they care deeply about. Fail to align with them and their issues and you fail to be relevant. Fail to be relevant - and guess what? You lose...

 

As long as your market feels that THEY are more important to you and you are totally interested in solving their problems, your business can thrive!

 

Again, sounds simple -- and it CAN actually become a lot easier than you think. But in order to do the job right - you need a "Masterful Thinking Partner." Someone to experience things with, someone to challenge things you may take for granted. Someone to redirect things, perceptions, your understanding and critical thinking.

 

A masterful thinking partner can do miracles for a business like yours -- today.

 

Why? Because, as one of my colleagues says, we're ALL really paid to think-- and keep thinking! Only problem is that... most of us think about the wrong things, in the wrong way and from the wrong point of view with the wrong goal in mind.

 

You need to get strongly connected to a better way of thinking. A clearer way of thinking, a more rewarding way of thinking. You need to have a support system that gets your brain "course- corrected" quickly, and frequently!

 

If this sounds ominous or scary - it's not. But failing to turn on (and turn-up) your critical thinking capability can be horribly dangerous - IF you don't watch out.

 

We're talking about making probably the hugest shifts in thinking you may ever embrace... and altering your commitment to your marketplace, your entire focus -- in ways and directions you probably never expected, probably never challenged your mind to look at before.

 

BUT, if you don't figure it out yourself (or get a capable masterful thinking partner to help do it for and with you) - your business can quickly go from being viable, successfull, maybe even the leader of the pack - to being a downward spiraling entrepreneur with a lot of shattered hopes and dreams and very little cash flow.

 

What should you do now? Definitely don't keep doing the status quo. Definitely stop thinking "linear" and doing things the same, old way.

 

Sit down, take stock, pursue (with a vengeance) making the kinds of mental connections you need -- with the right thinking partner (or partners) that can guide you through the thicket of shifts and changes you need to make-immediately, mentally as well as transactionally. When you start thinking differently, you start acting differently. Then you start transacting differently. Then you start producing bigger, better results.

 

If you don't - and unless you are exceptionally lucky - your business life could, quite suddenly (and irreversibly) take a bad turn - downward - in ways you don't even understand. It could be nearly impossible to correct or solve once that happens.

 

I'd like to sit down and talk through with you a far different way of seeing things. But for most of you the danger IS preventable. Therefore, I see my job as trying to help prevent it! I want to help you learn to think differently.

 

Before your business unnecessarily goes off the track, let me (at least) explore becoming your new Master Thinking Partner. Again, I'm willing because I think it's something few others focus on providing.

 

It's a different role from coach. It's actually different even than that of mentor. My goal would be to make YOU and your business more powerful, more profitable and a little bit better, stronger - each and every day.
